One of the most famous mills in the Raseiniai region is the Maslauskiškės mill. It is not clear when the water mill was built, but it is known that it was certainly in operation in 1891. In terms of output, it was one of the most powerful in Raseiniai County. The Maslauskiškės mill, which has seen many things, is immortalised in Lithuanian cinema in several episodes of the film "Niekas nenėjo mirti" (Nobody Wanted to Die, 1965) by V. Žalakevičius. Visits to this structure can be arranged in advance with the caretakers of the nearby homestead and mill.
