The typical olden days Fisherman‘s homstead stands in the southern part of old Nida town, on the shore of the lagoon. Here you can see and learn about the typical everyday life of an olden days fisherman. The homestead was build by the local masters in 1927. Homestead consists of two houses that are connected to each other. When a family member gets married, the young couple settles nearby, at the newly build part of the house. The fisherman‘s homestead exposition was updated in 2017. Modern equipment and creative presentation allows visitors to feel the presence of the ancestors.
